Gunpowder Friends Meeting takes seriously our commitment to be a welcoming spiritual home for Friends and newcomers, including children and their parents. Child care is available on most Sundays. Year round, child care is available during worship. During the school year, child care is also available after worship, so that adults may enjoy activities that take place then.

Child care is provided by a trained individual, often a young adult familiar with our families and the First Day School experience. We cherish the relationships that we have cultivated during this time of play, spiritual nurture, and care. Child care takes place with the support and supervision of the First Day School Committee and the Meeting.
